International Study Group on Systems Biology (ISGSB) conference was held 9-13. September - in the spring-time in the Southern hemisphere. The 21st ISGSB conference was organised by the same university as the first meeting in 2000. Prof. Johann Rohwer was leading the organisatorial team.
The conference was rich on presentations very related to our group work both about kinetic modeling and stoichiometric modeling. Historical aspects of ISGSB were specifically addressed by ISGSB long term participant Hans Westerhoff. He has inspired the conference participant Egils Stalidzans in systems biology approach since 2006. See the picture of both of us.
