3rd Estonian-Latvian Systems Biology Meeting

The 3rd Estonian-Latvian Systems Biology Meeting ‘LATEST III’ was held in Tartu, Estonia on December 12th 2018. This was the third time after meetings in 2009 in Tartu and 2011 in Tallinn when systems biologists from Estonia and Latvia meet to present and discuss their latest systems biology activities. As in previous times, both experimental and computational research on different organisms, systems etc. was be covered. We have planned to continue this tradition and the next meeting should be in Latvia…

ICSB 2018 in the neighbourhood of INTERPOL

International Conference on Systems Biology in 2018 was held in 27. October - 1.November in Lyon, France. The conference venue was located in a couple of hundred meters from the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) headquarters and we all could feel safe. The conference was announced already at ICSB 2017 in Virginia and we could observe the truly well-organised event. The institute was represented by Agris Pentjuss and Egils Stalidzans who participated in a number of tutorials (including COPASI, of course) and sessions.
